Microgreens cultivation is very simple they do’nt need much resources, it can be done wven without soild, it will grow in tissue paper, in water etc it require a medium that a seed can sprout.  Growing trays with good drainage capacity. Media should preferably be inert one like cocopeat, vermiculite and cocopeat alone or in combination.

One thing followed before the sowing or spreading of seeds in media is soaking. Seeds of beans, spinach or fenugreek require soaking for getting good germination percentage.

Then seeds are sprinkled over the media in medium density and covered with paper towel/ vermiculite/ cocopeat. Generally, bigger sized of seeds are covered with vermiculite or cocopeat and smaller seeds wth paper towel.
