As summer approaches, it’s time to think about adding cooling vegetables to your garden. While cucumbers are a classic choice, ridge gourd is another fantastic option, especially for container gardening. A member of the cucumber family, ridge gourd is filled with water and dietary fibers, making it perfect for weight loss. Plus, it’s packed with vitamin A, boosting its nutritional benefits.

It requires support for its vine growth and can be cultivated throughout the year.  Ridge gourd cultivation requires low investment and high yields. It’s rich in fiber, aiding digestion, and can be grown in various settings like pots, containers, and backyards.
