My Handmade Christmas Celebration at Home…Christmas 2020

Friends, I’m back to festive spirits in this Christmas and New Year season. I just thought about celebrating Christmas in a different way. My daughter loves doing crafts and I too. So we both planned to make some Christmas goodies handmade.

 

Our first attempt was to make a handmade wreath to hang on our front door.  We referred to many youtube channels and finally made a beautiful Christmas wreath and some other decors for the door. Then we made a lovely Christmas start using paper.

This time also some nostalgic memories hit me as usual. When I was in my school and college days, I used to buy beautiful Christmas and New Year cards for my friends and relatives. It was a special feel to post these cards in the post office and I would eagerly wait for those lovely cards from them too 🙂

 

Now everything is digitized and these festive wishes go through just one click. I just thought of doing those old things again this time. So we made two lovely handmade Christmas cards for our parents and made it posted by my daughter. We took her to the post office and she posted it. She was so happy doing it because it was the first time she did such a thing. Even my parents were too happy getting these handmade Christmas cards.

 

Also, I made a yummy plum cake, which we cannot avoid during the Christmas season. And we got a kitten these days. My kids were too happy getting their pet. And she was also a part of our Christmas celebration this time. So, this is all about our handmade Christmas celebration in 2020.
