A dish prepared best with Pearl Spot Fish (Karimeen). The fish marinated with different spices is then roasted and wrapped in a Banana leaf. It is then slow-roasted.

2. Meen Vevichathu (Red Fish Curry)

The Red Fish curry is a simple dish made with spices using fish which range from Kingfish to Pomfrets. It is made in a Manchatti (clay pot). No Coconut milk is added to this curry.

3. Fish Molee (Fish stew with coconut milk)

A stew made with fish fillets and other vegetables like potatoes and tomatoes. Kingfish or Pomfrets are used to make this thick coconut-based curry along with other vegetables.

4. Meen Peera (Sardines with Grated Coconut)

A dry dish made with small fish like sardines or tuna and lots of grated coconuts. If small fish are not available one can use fish fillets too.

5. Fish Mappas

A traditional Kerala fish curry where the fish pieces are cooked in coconut milk and coconut along with Tomatoes and Kokum fruits.

6. Chemmeen Curry

An awesome shrimp curry made with a spicy coconut sauce

7. Kallumekkaya Fry

A popular spicy Seafood dish, it is actually Mussels fried without their shells. A popular side dish with Rice.

8. Njandu Curry

Njandu Curry is Crab cooked with spices & coconut milk. The hint of sour from Kudampuli gives it a very traditional taste!
