Amaranthus Pink Beauty: A Burst of Nutrition and Flavor in Every Leaf.

Sundari Cheera, the rare pink Amaranthus from Kerala, is easy to grow in well-drained soil, these plants love sunlight and need occasional watering and fertilizer. They’re heat-resistant, tall, and bloom with charming pink hues from summer to frost.

Amaranthus Pink beauty boasts three times the calcium and five times the niacin content compared to spinach. The plant features oval leaves adorned with deep red veins. It is a  valuable addition to a healthy diet. This plant is relatively easy to grow, requiring minimal care. It offers a prolonged harvesting period, ensuring a steady supply of fresh, homegrown greens for an extended duration. Amaranthus is relatively resistant to pests and diseases compared to some other leafy greens. If you’re short on space, especially in apartments, opt for using grow bags to cultivate your Amaranthus.

Choosing the Right Seeds:

Make sure to pick good seeds. Avoid old or bug-infested ones. MahaAgrin has trustworthy seeds online that promise a good harvest.

Mahaagrin seeds, meticulously cultivated for optimal quality, promise a bounty of vitality for your garden. Sourced with care and expertise, these seeds hold the potential to transform your growing experience. With Mahaagrin, you’re not just planting seeds; you’re fostering a flourishing and vibrant garden.

Planting process in Growbag
Instead of directly placing the seeds in the grow bag, use a glass. The treatment process involves mixing the soil with lime for 15 days. Next, combine it with neem cake, cocopeat (chakirichor), and dry cow dung. Fill the treated soil into the glass, keeping it moist for 2 days. Afterward, place some seeds in the glass and water them daily until sprouts appear.

Once three or four leaves emerge, gently transplant them into the grow bag. Fill the grow bag with soil, incorporating goat dung or chicken manure, neem cake, and cocopeat (chakirichor). Plant five small plants in a grow bag. Allow the seedlings to rest in the shade for a couple of days before commencing the harvest around the 20th day.
