This time we are off to Munnar to satisfy one of our long pending dream, to stay in a tree house. It may seem a bit strange at first since this can be done easily. But the problem is kids are strictly not allowed in treehouses so with our little Aryan this was impossible for us. luckily Arya is coming with us so we can hopefully spend some time in the treehouse.
The Journey
We started our Journey from Tripunithura and took the Muvattupuza – Adimaly route. The journey was around 120kms and we took around 3.30 to 4 hrs to get there. On the way we stop by the two beautiful waterfalls Cheeyampara and Valara.
The Resort
The Dreamcatcher plantation resort, we fell in love with this beauty at first site. Nestled in the laps of Cardamom and Tea plantation, this property is having a solution for travellers of every budget. We stayed in a cottage dreaming of our time in the beautiful treehouse. Dreamcather is having 4 types of treehouse and they offered us the one inside the Cardamom plantation. Climate here is really awesome, you will this is a bright sunny day and the next moment you will be surrounded by the mist.
But before moving to the treehouse we wanted to explore the activities also. We took the Polaris ride through the plantation and that was really amazing. You can also try the horse riding, we missed it. These are race horses and I am sure you will love the experience. After completing the ride and a yummy dinner we moved to our treehouse. Man that was really amazing, we had some memorable time there and I am sure you will also love this. The best time to visit here is December- January. This was one of our unforgettable stay. Next day we left there with a heart full of finding memories.
