Madhumanthra resort is conveniently located by the roadside, and it’s just a 9 km drive from here to Munnar. The resort exudes a forest-like ambiance with its plantations and trees. As a welcome gesture, we were served cardamom coffee, which is a specialty of the resort.
We enjoyed a delicious non-vegetarian lunch at the resort. After our meal, we headed to the Pothenmedu viewpoint near the resort, which offers stunning vistas of a tea garden. Tea plantations are a highlight of Munnar, and this location is perfect for a photoshoot.
The resort’s rooms are elegantly furnished, and there are a total of 8 rooms available. Each room provides a view of the lush forest, and all of them feature a balcony. Gazing out from the balcony, you’ll be treated to breathtaking natural beauty.
You can savor the breathtaking views from the balcony as the trees are often shrouded in mist. You’ll also hear the soothing sounds of crickets in the background. The room charge includes breakfast, trekking, and a campfire, making it a budget-friendly resort.
