In Munnar, an enchanting event — the blooming of Neelakurinji flowers<\/strong>, happens every 12 years<\/strong>. These purple flowers cover the misty hills and take 12 years to bloom and reproduce. Tourists are coming to Munnar to see this breathtaking sight, which lasts from August to October. Munnar is special because it’s the only place where a flower called Neelakurinji blooms. These flowers are kind of hidden when they don’t bloom. But when they do, they cover Munnar’s mountains in a beautiful blue carpetNeelakurinji flowers are famous for their blue color. The Nilgiri mountains get their name from these blue flowers. Bees love them, and honey from these flowers is believed to have medicinal properties.<\/p>\n

To see it is from August to November, with the most flowers in September and October.<\/p>\n
